As a new member your picture will be taken and along with a news release, sent to the entire membership, published in the local newspaper, put upon our Chamber website & displayed on our Chamber digital highway sign. This Chamber generated publicity alone is worth the price of joining. During your membership, your events can be placed upon the Chamber’s community calendar to prevent other organizations from planning an event on the same day. E-mail & mail announcements of your event to the other Chamber members & upon web site also add to publicizing your special event.

Networking Functions
The monthly Business After Hours Social hosted by a Chamber member business will find business representatives gather to network & exchange ideas. The social & business contacts at these gatherings include food and refreshments as a bonus that makes each B.A.H. a real winner. These after hours socials are also an excellent “fringe benefit” for your staff.
Chamber E-Mail
Chamber’s e-mail notices keep members updated on Chamber events and happenings in the Vernon Parish business community. Pictures of events, both before & after, are worth their advertising weight in gold.

Business Referral Service We receive hundreds of requests each year for the names of local businesses, professionals, services and other establishments. ONLY Chamber members get these referrals.
Database Our Chamber database of Vernon Parish area Community Businesses can help your business. Mailing labels are available for your Chamber function or for a small fee for your business use.

Investment Schedule *

Membership in the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce is open to any business, industrial firm, organization or civic group. Special categories of membership, including individual memberships, are also available.

The Investment schedule is established by the Board of Directors and is based on a “fair share investment” concept. Investments are paid annually in advance at the time of application and on each subsequent anniversary date.

A separate committee whose members participate in numerous military related activities & events with Fort Polk, the active & reserve components of the military and the military retirement community.
