Representing the Louisiana Business Community of Vernon Parish & Fort Polk since 1943
Benefits:
FREE PUBLICITY
As a new member your picture will be taken and along with a news release, sent to the entire membership, published in the local newspaper, put upon our Chamber website & displayed on our Chamber digital highway sign. This Chamber generated publicity alone is worth the price of joining. During your membership, your events can be placed upon the Chambers community calendar to prevent other organizations from planning an event on the same day. E-mail & mail announcements of your event to the other Chamber members & upon web site also add to publicizing your special event.
Ribbon Cuttings & Grand Openings
A great way to introduce a new business to the community, or to celebrate milestone anniversaries, expansions, remodeling or relocation of an existing member business.
Business and Political Contacts
Through various Chamber events, meetings and activities, you meet elected officials, Fort Polk leaders, & fellow Chamber members who can send you valuable business and vice versa. You become part of a personal customer referral service.
Special Events
Opportunities abound throughout the year to participate in Chamber events. From our special annual events (Annual Banquet, Christmas Parade, Planning Session, Mardi Gras Parade, Car Raffle, Business Forums, Beauty of Vernon Parish Photo Contest) to our traditional Business After Hours Networking Socials, the Chamber offers many opportunities for you to highlight your business.
Networking Functions
The monthly Business After Hours Social hosted by a Chamber member business will find business representatives gather to network & exchange ideas. The social & business contacts at these gatherings include food and refreshments as a bonus that makes each B.A.H. a real winner. These after hours socials are also an excellent fringe benefit for your staff.
Chamber E-Mail
Chambers e-mail notices keep members updated on Chamber events and happenings in the Vernon Parish business community. Pictures of events, both before & after, are worth their advertising weight in gold.
Website
The Chambers website www.chambervernonparish.com is an excellent opportunity for the many newcomers planning to move here, or for recent arrivals (the military family is very web savvy) to learn who to do business with & our website incorporates MapQuest to show these customers how to drive straight to your front door. Advertising is also available to Chamber members as an effective way to have your business noticed by those who surf the web.
Referral Requests
Referral Requests are received from newcomers, office visitors, e-mails, our web visitors, etc. are made only to our Chamber of Commerce members in the community.
Return on Investment
Online Directory In addition to our Community Profile and Business Directory, every Chamber member receives fee listing on our website, which can be located from anywhere in the world via Internet.
